About Us
Before the year 2003, there was no Secondary School at Olmoran Town Centre. In mid-2002, nine schools pooled their resources together at a contribution of KShs. 150 per parent for the inception of Olmoran Day Secondary School. Schools from different regions (Northern, Central, and Southern pools) contributed. Several community leaders, including Mr. William Keses and former MP G.G. Kariuki, played a key role in the establishment. Contributions led to the construction of the first classrooms, and the school opened its doors in May 2003.
The school has a student population of 611 (304 boys, 307 girls) and a teaching staff of 26 teachers. There are 15 non-teaching staff. The school has continued to grow thanks to contributions from various partners.
The school's strategic plans focus on excellence in education, improving ICT facilities, and expanding the curriculum to meet students' needs.
